I’ve never posted a picture of my tattoo! It’s almost two years old now ha. This picture was taken the day it was done (on my crummy cell phone camera), so it’s darkened a bit since then. The crane was done first. I’ve always had an affinity towards Japanese traditional art, and I love the elegance of real cranes. I’m also a bit crane like in appearance, so there’s that haha. I thought the cherry blossoms would be nice to immortalize since they’re so fleeting in real life. I stylized them to fit with the sharp lines of the crane though. I chose red because of it’s significance in certain Asian cultures, and also because it looks pretty sweet on my super pale skin.
That’s my tattoo! I plan on adding more to it at some point.
